I’m an acoustic act from Kingskerswell, South Devon, performing covers and originals with a mix of influences. My first festival was Kingskerswell Summermoon in 2015; In 2016 I decided that music was something I really wanted to do and getting involved with the Greenlight Unplugged Macmillan cancer project really pushed me with this. Through this project I first played my original music and recorded an original track to be part of their album.  I performed at the album release 2017, hosted by James Santer (BBC Introducing Devon) and he later gave me my first BBC Introducing Devon airplay by playing this track on his show.

My first real festival year was 2017 of which the highlights were Grinagog, Exeter WOW Festival and Glas-Denbury. I also became a regular performer with Soundlaunch (Kate Graham) and played at other smaller festivals and events as well a live radio performance ( Riveria FM Ted Evans).

In 2018 the highlight of the year was in May when I had the amazing opportunity to perform at The Biggest Weekend Fringe South West Rising which was organised by Sarah Gosling, the new host of BBC Introducing Devon. I continued to work closely with Soundlaunch getting performance, recording and festival experience at various projects and venues.  2018 festival slots included Grinagog, Summermoon fest, Glas-Denbury, Langaland, Sidmouth Folk Week and Jollystock amongst others . I enjoyed more Radio air play and interviews and The Shorely Magazine showcased one of my performances. I rounded the year off with a last minute performance at the MusicExpo Bath event and was part of Exeter’s Oxjam fundraiser.

2019 has started with the release of my EP ‘Reflections’ which I have recorded and produced myself. It has been an experience that not only has taught me so much practically but I have also learnt so much about myself and my music and where I want to grow to. I have already enjoyed a great opportunity to get some more live radio experience with Steve Muscutt / MusoMuso and I’m looking forward to the year ahead which includes festivals (new and old) and bookings for Weddings and other venues.
